Projects We Support

Echoes seeks to support projects across the globe that offers aid to those in need and helps families to rebuild their lives. An example of such a project is in Pakistan, following the devastating floods that occured late last year.

Pakistan

Heavy rainfall and devastating floods hit northern India and Pakistan in September 2014 at the cost of 367 lives and over 2.5 million people were affected by the flooding.1

Echoes, in association with One2Another, has helped in the reconstruction of homes in Rangpur, Pakistan. On 19th January 2015, a new water pumping system was installed and shortly after, the reconstruction of houses began.

The team from One2Another involved the local community in the project, and unskilled village labourers helped in the construction. By April 2015, the construction work was completed with homes rebuilt in areas unlikely to be affected by future floods.

The homes built not only returned families to shelter and comfort but provided homes that will secure their future, keeping their families safe.

One2Another, a local charity, aims to improve the lives of poor and marginalised families through education, providing resources, discipleship and pursuing sustainability.
